1999 Spartan Gladiator Firetruck — Ready for Action!

While we’re not fire truck experts ourselves, our company owner has a Fire Chief in the family who provides valuable insight and remains available to help answer any technical questions we may not be able to address directly.

This truck was fully serviced by Goodman, a reputable local shop in Amelia, VA. They installed new brakes all around and completed the Virginia State Safety Inspection. During the service, they noted that one valve would need to be replaced to pass a full pump inspection. We chose not to complete that repair at the time, as the truck was scheduled to head to the paint shop. With minimal additional work, this unit is ready to pass a pump test and hit the road.

The unit has been driven a couple hundred miles by firemen since we acquired it, and it drives great! They also assisted with the testing of all the truck's systems, and it functions just as it should!   
 

The Gladiators are well known for their roomy cab design that provides ease of movement, extended leg and headroom and excellent visibility for the crew members. The width of the cab doors, step width, and step height provide for safe entry and exit for crew in full firefighting gear.
